Zero Wastage Cutlery

This cutlery was designed in response to seeing new evolving methods of cutlery production in Sheffield’s Portland Works by Knife Maker Stuart Mitchell. Stuart uses laser cutting to cut ‘knife blanks’ from sheets of steel. This project sought to make use of the wasted material between the knives as spoons and forks. Produced as a student the Royal College of Art.
