Underground House
Concept for a unique home in the countryside
The house is expressed as a large 'cap stone' sat on stone pillars. Partly dug into the ground, the field above extends onto the roof allowing sheep in the field to graze the green roof.

Between the pillars, rooms appear as free standing bespoke elements of furniture.
Framed views across the valley from generous living spaces
A sitting room with a large built in inglenook fireplace.
Bedroom with a built in desk
